Darn it!!!!!! She was on the wrong nest today!

Thanks for the boost everyone! I am still holding onto hope. The original hatch date is the 18th so I will not be in suspense for too long. I am going outside to check and make sure she is on the right nest a few times a day and tonight will figure out some way to barricade her in the correct nesting box until Sunday (with food/water/poop breaks of course). Is it too late to move her into one of the spare rabbit hutches maybe?

Update: I just went out to lock up the coop for the night and heard very faint peeping noises. I went over to the nest box area and sure enough it was coming from there.....lifted up mama hen and there are FOUR CHICKS!!!!!!

There are 3 more eggs so maybe I will even get more, but I feel darn lucky to have gotten four after the eggs got so cold. This is my Christmas miracle for the year
