I noticed a few holes in my corn bags so I figured I had a mouse or two in my coop.

My coop is 16x18 and 3/4 of it is the coop and the last 1/4 is my area that I have the rabbits and a few shelves for chicken stuff an my feeds.

I set two mouse snap traps with peanut butter and caught 2 mice Sunday. I reset them and caught 2 more today!!!

There brown with white bellys

is the cold causeing them to come inside and warm up and get a snack?

You've probably got alot more. The more food they have access to, the faster they multiply. Try to get everything mouse/rat proof, and don't leave out any feed. And trap as many as you can.

the best thing to stop mice but not harming them is to plant mint...(but if you do you should plant it in pots and burry the pot to ground level because mint spreads like wild fire)... it also helps keep ticks and fleas away

If someone can find a non-lethal way to dispose of mice, more power to you. After years of fighting them for turf in our farmhouse, we just decided that they could have the outdoors and we could have the indoors. When they get inside (as they do when it's cold out), the only way to deal with them is to mouse trap them (the fatal kind) until they are all gone. I don't mean to be cruel-hearted, but they are a tough rival, and they will keep coming back. We tried everything before we just said enough was enough.

Victor makes a repeating mouse trap called the tin cat. It is the best repeating trap on the market nothing to wind or bait, just put it along the wall and dump the mice out the next day, unharmed if you are so inclined.
