So... I didn't mean to but as I walked into TS they were there and I couldn't help myself. I've become addicted to chickens. Here are my new chicks. I bought six, a pair of each. Any idea what they could be? I know they are all pullets. I'm hoping the buff colored ones are Orpingtons. *crosses her fingers, closes her eyes and wishes "oh please oh please oh please be an Orpington"*

Thank you in advance for your help in identifying these little cuties!

With kind regards,

It's hard to tell by the pic, but are your buff ones larger than the others? My orps are always much bigger as babies than others.....

Otherwise, it does look like one, here's one of my orps at 2 or 3 days old:

Not sure about the second one though... is it chipmunk looking from the back?? Could be an EE, not sure if they sold those at TS, but possibly... Brown leghorns also look kind of chipmunk like at that age... eh, hope someone else knows that one cause I'm not sure!

And the last one though, the black with the spot on it's head is a Barred Rock for sure, congrats, they're beautiful!

Thank you all for responding.

I have since discovered that YES I have Orpingtons! WOOT!!!!
I've been wanting them for a while. I hear they are very sweet birds.
The second is still anyone's guess. I'm hoping Goldend laced Wyandottes but honestly I'm happy with whatever I get.
Third photo- they are Bar rocks.

I'll send photos of the second one in a few weeks time.

I would say that the black one was not a BR if it is anything I would say it was a black sexlink hen and I might be wroung but the white chick might be a sexlink rooster.. I know around here the tsc's get alot of sexlinks..
