I think I got gypped. My BA, Ozzie, is the most standoffish of all my mixed breed flock. She has always been strange and skittish. Maybe I will try again someday.

To me the black australorp is a bird that gets no respect. You hear alot about buff and barred rocks but little about the black australorp. I think they are fine birds and one of my very fave. Lets hear it for the australorps! Just a question-is there any other color for them other than the black?
