Hi, we are moving ourselves and our 4 hens to the Dartmouth College area this fall from northern Colorado
We would really appreciate some input on the chicken scene in that area. We are thinking we might need to actually buy a house, even tho we will be there just 3 years, because we doubt whether we could rent a place that allows us to have our chix.
Any ideas?
We plan to move the chickens in a small covered truck. I think we might need a "lay-over" day or 2 for the hens, who are very used to running around the yard, digging holes in the dirt.
cheers!
we will certainly post our moving experiences after we arrive.
