This Is Reba , one of my RIR.. I bought d=from Agway April 11th & tucked under sadie , whom was so thrilled to have her own chicks, as Bambie was the nesting hen of the other 4... Sadie was so depressed she had no babies.. lol, Then Sadie took over all the chicks, I called her the mother hen from hell , lol The best mom ever tho

My Silkie Rooster Zeus . 1 1/2 yrs old. He is such a gentle man. The wise old man. He's a love, a real keeper.

The coop on the hill. We have this nice flat spot on the hill above the drive way. It was alway a pain to mow the hill. so that whole area is fenced for the chickens. They have a Lilace tree & a ton of ferns for coll cover & shade. Plus 2 very large trees on the hill.

A friend & I went 2 the chicken swap in Tilton, NH Sunday. She got a turkey & I bought young hens. a silver laced polish, she is just a beauty, I am in awe. A blue naked neck polish, she also is a beauty. I wasn't sure if I like the looks of the naked neck, but when I saw her. OMG!

I kept them in my office last nite. Hubby helped me get the little coop set up, now they R out, have their own little yard until E1 get to know each other. I'll get pic's soon.
