Noah sat in a seat opposite of Julie. He frowned to himself. Julie had hardly spoken since they had gotten back from getting firewood.

she nodded slightly. Her expression was blank. She glanced back down at Hawaii. Her face showed we hurt. She had to leave her home. She had grown up there and was forced to leave because of the war.
