I was gifted the other day! My Son's girlfriend came over the other night with an envelope and handed it to me. In it was a pair of earrings I have wanted but wouldn't spend the money on, cuz money is just way to tight for such things! I was talking about them one day when she was cutting my hair. She went to the store and search them out by how I described them! I was so shocked! I asked what was the occasion and she said just because I knew you would never buy them for your self! How sweet in that? My son and her are moving to Columbus to be with my other son, I will miss them all. Glad it is only 3 hrs away! Not to far!
Hi everyone,
First, yesterday. I gave a friend some assistance with her garden, yesterday. Plus I gave her some chicken poop mixed with used straw from their bedding. That was funny to see someone so excited about poop.
Today, I spent some time with my mom and I gave her a dozen eggs, too. She LOVES my hens' eggs. She wanted to give me something, so gave me a piece of her homemade pie. Yum. And she was in a pretty good mood, today. Bonus!
I haven't been on the computer much. The awesome weather here has been keeping me outside. Non-stop. Feels like it's April, so warm and sunny.
I imagine there are countless numbers waiting in the shadows with baited breath, wondering if & when they will get theirs. Cuz don't eggs just STREAM outta your chickens? Apparently, people think mine do.
<I have 5 pullets> So, today my dad says to me, "Well, you been gettin at least 5 eggs a day, right? Mmm, no Dad. More like 3, or sometimes 4, if we're lucky. He looked surprised, "No kidding, is that Normal?" Yessirree.
Weaveagarden - thanks for good thought!! Sometimes it is hard to stretch out and give, because it feels like I'm gonna lose something. Don't ask me what I'll lose. I don't know. But, I have to keep reminding myself -- when giving love, I never lose any of the love I give. It remains complete in me, and expands with the giving.
