I'm not sure what's going on and I can't take a photo to show it. I'm no expert candler either!

    Day 14, chicken egg
There's a cluster of veins, quarter sized, with a sort of dot in the middle near the bottom of the egg (pointy end). The top half of the egg is dark and there are other veins in that dark area. This egg was the best looking out of the bunch. I candled a few days ago, maybe day 10 or 11 and it was definitely not there so it appeared in that time frame.

If the veins are still there, dark and visible; does that automatically mean the chick is alive?

    Any help is appreciated!!

Also, if the dark area is wavy, like no straight line dividing, is that really bad?
