Oh that’s so good to hear. We’ll only keep a couple, I really wanted to raise these from chicks and my friend’s supply of fertile eggs was so generous. If we get a high hatch rate we’ll make a plan then- maybe offer some to new homes right away? Not sure yet. There are mostly BCM in the incubator but also Whiting True Blue and Silverudd.I have a black copper maran hen who is 7 months old. She lays the prettiest eggs, & she is a sweet girl. She’s beautiful. With the copper in her hackles & the black feather that shine the bluish-purplish colors within the black feathers. I don’t have any advice. Just wanted to say they’re lovely birds!
