I can't wait! so excited, i just want to see them all hatch!! As i stated it's around day 15 and 16 for the eggs, and im just wondering, when will i hear noises from the inside? I hear people talking about hearing pips from inside of the eggs, is that around day 19 and 20?

I don't usually hear sounds until day 20, but with my Icelandics... sometimes on day 19.

Good LUCK!

Yup, they don't start peeping till they're just a few hours away from pipping. If I hear peeping, it's not until day 20 or 21.

ah, alright then, good to know :] that way i can at least tell when they're ready to come out!! THANKS!!

Sometimes they don't peep at all, but if you listen very carefully you can usually hear a tiny faint tapping noise. That's once they've pipped internally, into the air sac, and now they're tapping away at the shell to pip through that. So if you hear a tapping noise, there'll usually be a pip within 24 hours.

Hi there

I would agree that you may hear cheeping around day 20.

Here is a link to a thread I did earlier which explains the hatching process in full detail.

I hope it helps you.
