DAY 16 incubation

Hi all

Today at 6pm will be day 21, unfortunately no movement in incubator, very disheartening again.

Forgive me if I've asked before, but you start your count after they've been incubating 24 hours, right?

I think so amy, the incubator has a day counter on it so i say yes, is it possible i may get more as only one pipped, but from candling should be more!, i feel so stupid with all these questions

Don't feel stupid. It's how you learn and we were all there at one point and anyone that says different is full of kangaroo poo...
I think some of those incubators count the day of set as day one. If you set them on a Friday, then today at whatever time you set them at would begin day 21. If you set them on a Thursday, then today would have started day 22. If that helps.

I have 3 chicks, yepee lol, i think thats all though , better than nothing though so chuffed, i do have another batch going on day 14 so may i get more from that, 8 did get 20 quail chicks lol so i would say a success lol
