Yea, raise the humidity between 65% to 75%. I have never had the temp. issues because i have the model 1588 with the preset thermom. at 100*F

I have 2 new hygrometers (a springfield & acurite from Walmart), but found that they were both at least 10% under when I did the salt/water humidity test so when my hygrometer says 50%, I know it's really 60%.

I also have two new Accurite thermometer/hygrometers from wal-mart wiht new batteries just finished the salt water test on one and it is 8% off and betting the other one is at least that much off, try doing the salt water test on the thermometer. I have read on her about people using wadded up papertowels under the vent holes and using syringes with tubing to rewet the paper towels when necessary! GOOD LUCK!!!
