Day 17 of incubation, temp of incubator low and humidity too high?

Waiting patiently, not so patiently. It has gotten hot outside now, though I have central air (the incubator isn’t near a vent.)
So the temp in the incubator is reading more like 99 somehow and the humidity is 26 ish.
I’m so tempted to increase the humidity.
I see a few eggs starting to wiggle but no external pips. It’s the morning of day 21. I set my eggs at 11 pm on 4/18.
Lord have mercy, should I just watch and wait? I guess so. Just wanted to give and update and ask for your chick support and good thoughts this way please. Unless there’s something you think I should do.

I guess I don’t have the nerves of steel that would let me keep the humidity that low on Day 21. I’d probably bump the humidity up a bit. It will really help you troubleshoot and plan your next incubation if you can externally calibrate an thermometer so you know what temperature you really are incubating at. My forced air Hovobator also has more than a 1 degree F difference between its hottest and coldest spots. I’m on day 20 myself so anxiously waiting too! Good luck with your hatch!

I do t have nerves of steel lol just peering eyeballs that keep me checking and looking at those eggs probably way too often lol.

holding tight, punkybrewster haven’t touched the external temp and have air holes/vents open. Really it feels like this will be a miracle if any come through. Dang rookie mistakes. But who knows until day 23 or 24 I have hope. Thanks all!

So true! Already planning better for the next one for sure! Thanks a million!
