Day 17, one is already hatching

Awww! so cute! I can't wait for mine to hatch!

My little black one is a right cuddle bug. Every time I put my hand under mom to check on them she crawls into it, so I can give her a cuddle. I love playing with my new chicks. They are so friendly and trusting when they're that young.
My MIL hatched some eggs for us a few hears ago. She added 1 bantam egg to the hatch. So we had 3 normal size chicks and this tiny little grey fluff ball running around. Then it started growing feathers. Long wing feathers sticking out, way past it's bum. I said to MIL one day it looks like a little ghost. The name stuck and she was called The Ghost after that.

That is so cute. I have 2 regular sized eggs in with 23 more silkie/cochin eggs. So if most of the eggs hatch and those two regular sized ones hatch I'll have a funny looking flock of chicks.
I also have 3 older ones. sadly one of my older ones is for sure a rooster and I cannot own a rooster. 1 hen and 1 unknown I hate not knowing.
