so yesterday was day 21but since today is really day 21 should today be the day should see the egg rolling or hearing chirping in just overly anxious I know not to open the bator just staring at it mostlyLol yes. Correct. You start counting 24 hours after set. Chicken eggs need 21 days of INCUBATION. So an egg doesn't have one day of incubation until it's been incubated for 24 hours. Then it's day one. So if you set at 1pm on Monday, day one is 1pm Tuesday, day two Wednesday and so on. If you set eggs on Monday, expected hatch (with ideal/accurate temps) would be Monday three weeks later. Expected hatch day is same day of the week as the set day. Hope that wasn't confusing.
