we are at day 17 with our broody hen she has 6 eggs under her when should we start checking for chicks around day 20.should we move her an her eggs to a cage by herself to hatch them or will she be fine in her nesting box we are going to brooder the chicks once they hatch we have a few older chicks i may put in the coop to see if she will trade off they are all feathered out.any help this is our first time me an the kids are so excited
