very cool sara! I hope they keep on hatching. Yup, that's my little Lester, who is getting wayyy too big too fast. I'm going to have to move him soon cuz he is towering over my banties in the nursery. haha I will get new pics soon. Good luck with the rest of your hatch.

Two buff orps are about 1/2 way out, 2 silkies are out. I think there is one other buff orp pipped and the 4 remaining silkie eggs have all pipped. And I am very excited to say that the araucana egg has just pipped. I've been so nervous that it would be one that dies before it hatched.

Holy cow, these little silkies are fast! Third one just hatched, last time I was down there was a tiny pip, just went down and it's already out.

I'm not surprised the silkies are hatching a bit early. I would imagine more orps would hatch through tomorrow since that is the due date. It is nice to hear how zippy they are.

Fingers crossed that all hatch successfully.

I think my friend just sold a bunch of lavender ameraucana..I wanted them so bad, but no room.

Hmmm, maybe if he gets rid of more lavender ameracaunas I'll have to get some. I divided my one coop in half, one half for the aracauna and I had something in mind for the other side, but I do love the lavander color! Maybe a change of plan is called for

2 orps hatched, but one seems to have something wrong with its leg, like it can't straighten it right. I'm praying it straightens out. The other looks great. I think I'll soon have to just buy some orp chicks from you, they don't seem to like to hatch for me and the ones that do are all boys

4 orp eggs left, but they have not pipped. The aracuana egg pipped but no progress since. It's still rocking so hopefully during the night it will!

the other two silkies are almost out, aracauna still just has a pip, and I can't see anything on the other 4 buff orps. I hope they hurry up, patience isn't my best quality

These little fuzzy footed silkie babies are so cute. It's been years since I hatched any of them. A broody hen hatched some while I was in the hospital so I missed getting to see them newly hatched.
