Day 18 and air cells are small

Sorry to hear about your loses :hugs Although incubating is a fantastic experience these are its down side. Congrats on your 11 :celebrate
Enjoy them while they are small!! They grow so fast you won't know where the weeks have gone.

**air cell update** this afternoon my chicks was still moving, I haven't been opening my incubator that much, they still look like they've grown, air cells a little bigger, I'm hoping they're still going to hatch regardless of the day they're on, especially if my temp has been lower than it says. What day should I be getting worried that they can't pip, like say they're till alive on day 23/24 and still not pipped, what do I do

Leave that bator closed. We allready know the temp is too low. Every time you open the lid, you're dropping the temp even more. Back away from the bator, and don't touch it! Don't open to candle those eggs! If you see movement through the window, fine, but DON'T TOUCH! If nothing by day 26, chuck them.

X2 with lazy gardener. Just leave them be now. Give them time now and keep the incubator closed. Let nature takes its course. I know it's tempting to open and look at the eggs but it really is best for them now to be left alone.

I don't open the incubator to do it, both my themometres read the same, so I'm sure it's not the trnpature and obviously the humidity, where I know I've gone completly wrong, I've candled twice in 4 days to check if my air cells are getting bigger, they have, not far off the right size tonight, I think it helped putting the slightest damp sponge in there just so it was damp, which I thought was weird? But yeah it's looking good so is only day 21 and hoping they hatch not far from the guide date
