Day 18 Candle.

Candled at day 18 last night before going into the hatcher. I removed 3 out of 40 eggs. 2 of 3 had a tiny chick in it. As much as I don't like my current rooster, he is doing a fine job sowing his seed w/ a 98% fertilized egg rate. Now let's hope my hatch rate is as successful.

Tried candleing my maran eggs (day 17) and I just can't see!! If I go by "weight" I think I have about 80%... thought I head some faint pipping last night, but was not possitive, and was too snuggled up in bed to get out and check. ARGH! Suspense is killing me! I'll move them to my improvised "hatcher" tonight.
