What kind of chickens do you have?
It's hard but the best thing is not to look under the hen, leave her do her chickeny thing but keep an eye out for empty shells or peeping noises and/or tiny little fuzzy heads sticking out from her. She'll get most of them out OK - intervening can be a heart-breaking adventure and if it's your first time then you are better to accept that not all will hatch or hatch properly so enjoy the ones you do get without the guilt trips over the one you couldn't save.
