Congrats on the babies y'all!!!!

Mine arent doing anything, and dont look good either, 2 of them had rotten egg juice (dont know what else to call it) seeping out and I CAREFULLY threw them out. My temp dropped last week to around 80 and it took about a 1/2 day to get it back up, wonder if thats the problem. Also, I really took a chance on these eggs, some my hen laid and were in the nest outside for almost 2 weeks, some my MIL found in her neighbors yard from free ranging chickens in her little neighborhood, and some I bought from a lady that just puts all her eggs in a box on her porch untill someone wants them. Of course Ididnt know that when I bought them. I am soooo bummed. When do I throw them out? Ive got more eggs waiting for their spot, but dont want to throw them out too early. I had already ordered about 5 dozen eggs from different people here and then the lady gave me 8 dozen eggs, and I just had to try and hatch them, plus Ive got another 4 dozen in another bator from the same lady that are due to hatch in a week. Both my bators are full now and Ive got eggs coming in the mail...so......hubbys picking me up another bator today!!!!!wooohoooo Maybe I will have better luck with these others.

Are you sure it is coming from his bottom and not his navel? Pic? I had some rough navels with my humidity issue and all have cleared up beautifully.

I keep calling all of mine she except the ones that look most like my roo as a baby....gonna will them to be what I want!!! LOL

He definitely looks Polish to me.

CUTE!!!! As for the "thing"....just from the little I can see, it looks to be coming from frarther up than his little bottom. I would guess it is his navel and should be alright. Can you flip him over and take a pic of the issue?

I took mine out of the bator wet....since I was having to hand hatch each egg. I had a small box right under the heat lamp in the brooder and kept them in it until they were dry.

I'll take a pic if I can, but my 3 yr old is really being a typical man today. He cut himself , I fixed it. He opened the door and went strolling onto the porch alone... he's ripping the baby gates down to see Cadbury... Today might kill me. I fell asleep around 1:30-2am and was up at 7... I'm toast.
