Day 18...Lock Down!!!!

One born!!! Everything looks great, the chick is moving around and wobbling. He's making a lot of noise and pushing the other eggs around.

We went into "lockdown" Friday morning (9 am) Only 5 banty eggs but hopefully we'll get some chicks!

We have 2 little banty chicks. No idea what they are. My son won them at a Poultry School and we were told that they are either Bantam Rocks or Bantam Wyandottes. Any hints to tell the difference? We had some crooked toes so they are band'aided up. Here is a pic of the tiny ones.

Looks like yours already hatched but for future hatches, I use a LG still air and when I go into lockdown I put a hand towel that I fold up the long way under one of the vent holes. I use a childs medicine dropper to drip water through the hole and keep the towel wet. It makes it easy for me to keep my humidity up without opening the incubator....
