Day 18 normal??

I think it is awesome that you took this project on!

If I have my facts right:
This is your first time ever incubating eggs.
You had to design and build your own incubator, without any previous experience.
You are hatching store bought eggs which have been handled by many people before you got them.
You found a wonderful source for information, guidance, and help - BYC!
You said you are a curious teen, and you are clearly very excited and involved with this project.

I think you have done a great job! However, you now have an addiction with many enablers to encourage you, lol. Welcome to the club!!
(Also, if I remember correctly, you have at least 2 other earlier threads that I have seen, correct?)

Better to soak a qtip and hold against the side of her beak,
the liquid will seep into her mouth and she should swallow,
gently stroking the front of her neck and under her chin may stimulate her to swallow.
Squirting/dripping stuff directly into the mouth can drown them if it goes down their trachea.
 
I don’t squeeze it directly into her mouth. I squeeze just enough so that half a drop hangs at the tip and she pecks at it and swallows

My birds won’t touch any sort of eggs, scrambled or hard boiled.
Get a bit of the chick starter and mix some water in to make it soft. Almost like oatmeal. Then tap around beside it, maybe even get a bit on your finger and offer it to her. She won’t eat a lot but getting her started is important.
