*drumming my fingers waiting also* it is day 18 for me too, just set the eggs in the still air.......Humidity is 70 and temp is ranging from 100 to 102. These are some buff orpington eggs i got off off Ebay, those that i could see when i candled showed good development and i only tossed one clear one.

Shipped eggs are hard to hatch, disapointing at times but also rewarding when things go right. keeping my fingers crossed and sending good hatching vibes your way.

This is may second hatch with shipped eggs. First clutch all but one died, or were duds. This batch I had 30 eggs, down to 12, but I think that ony a few will hatch if I am licky. One of them when I candled it had a developed chick in it, but a lot of fluid. I am worried that when it pips it will drown.
