Day 18 today...came home to chick this afternoon!!

Weird, huh?? All eggs were set on the same day and it was on a Saturday....as always!! I work, so I always set the eggs on Saturday mornings so I'm likely to be home when they hatch.

Turned off the turner this morning, increased the humidity and came home to a cute little blue silkie chick!!

That's awesome! I'm on Day 19 and my eggs are chirping and pipping now. It's awesome when they hatch early! Congrats on your new baby!
