Not too awfully early. Just don't intervene! A pip can take 24 hours to zip so just sit on your hands and watch the miracle happen!

I would take them out of the turner tho and get your humidity levels up for your hatch to happen. Good luck!

i took them out & placed them in an egg carton just the way they were in the turner & brought humidity up to 65%...is that high enuff

I always try for the range of 60 to 70%. Your okay. Remember the humidity will climb some when the chicks start pipping and hatching.

ok the 1 that pipped ..all i see is a little beak ..just the tip & it hasnt moved at all , could it be dead ?or am i just not seeing it move .
the pip is on the side & looks like it may have sealed up for the most part ..uggh i really hope its going to be ok....

Remember it's still just day 18/19. Sometimes a chick might pip and not zip for several hours. But if you're afraid it might have died, tap on the glass of the bator and put your ear close and listen for peeps. I hope it's still alive too.

Hopefully soon you'll have a nice fluffy chick running around and tossing all the eggs.

once they pip they 1) wait for the blood supply to the membrane to stop, 2) absorb the yolk, and normally 3) sleep.

all these things take time. stop flapping

Patience! 24 hours and longer from a pip to zipping alot of times.
