Day 18

Got a couple of Coturnix in the incubator. They are on day 18 today. At day 14 they were both dark when candled and I could make out the air sac. How long do I let them sit before float testing them?

don't think about messing with them at all until day 23. if the pip and don't do any zipping for 24 hrs they are resting, do not help, a pip doesn't mean ready to hatch!!!

Coturnix quail I hatch are normal around day 18-19. If the temp was low then day 20-21 is possible. After day 21 anything that hatches is probably not viable.
