Ok I have my temp/humidity probe laying in the middle of the eggs on the wire rack. It is reading 97.3

I have another therm. coming in from the top of the bator and it is reading 100.00 so what do I do?

Just saw your posting...How are things going this morning?...I wouldn't start messing with the temps at this stage but thats my opinion...

Refresh us on what type of incubator your working with...I wouldn't worry about the temp...you made sure your water wells were full?...a wet sponge or sock added?...humidity is alittle lower than it should be so try getting it to the 60 to 70% range by doing what I suggested...if you have opened the vents or plugs you can get water in that way sometimes with an eyedropper or clear tubing onto your sponge or sock...

Your doing okay then......I do believe the vent plugs need to be open now for air....

ok I only have 2 vent plugs on the top not sure about the bottom, haven't looked.

I'm on day 19, also. have some of hinkjc rhode island reds in my new lyon tx-6 bator. hoping I have better luck than with my little giant.

I have two pipped so far out of 15 eggs. received 18 and three were clear at one week. have two others that didn't develope beyond 10 days or so so have 13 viable ones at this point. hoping. I need more hens.

I to ordered from hinkjc, but I order EE's. I already have RIR's. I put 23 eggs in the bator on day 1. On day 7 all were growing but 2. So now I am looking and hoping for 21 new babies in the next few day's.
