They might be I wont know till I open the bator and check the shells as I got eggs from you , kellyHM and someone else I cant remmber the screen name of at them moement.
I have 3 more pips and Im a little worried as they havent done any thing else yet , its only been about 4 hours but its always nerve wracking with quail , chickens regularly seem to take an avrage of like 4-8 and sometimes tons more but lots of times quail just pop out you know

Ok I have a question , the first one that hatched is yellowish is that a certian type ?
And the second one to hatch even though he hatched maybe 10-20 minutes maybe 30 after the first is still wet looking , he isnt wet but he looks like it all slicked back is there a reson for that , I was afraid ti was low humidity so I snuck another hot wet sponge in there and rewet the one in there already , I cant bealve my humidity thing went capoooy right be for my hatch .

If it is yellow yellow it is white if it is yellow with a gray/brown under tone it is a silver or slate

Sometimes I have chicks hatch like that when I move them to the bator I rub it with a damp cloth to clean it then it fluffs right up

Im pretty excited about the yellow one its a fire cracker it was pipped zipped and hatched in wham bam thank you mam time and has been zipping around like the road runner ever scince its a mad bird I tell ya lol any color besides brown would be awsome . I have one just wild normal brownish looking guy thats about 3 weeks old cant tell if tis a boy or girl people say it will have rust feathering around its vent if its a boy , it dosnt but I dont know if im looking right

the 3 other pipps are just the same now , going on like 6 hours with no change so Im sitting here biteing my nails and looking thru the bator window every five minutes , wondering if adding a sponge was enough to ruin there chances

You shouldn't have opened the bator with pips, they dry out super fast. Can you see them moving at all?

no movement at all , Im freaking out I didnt realize I had those pips when I added the wet sponge I was just thinking well the last guy to hatch was sticky so maybe my humidity was to low

Ok I jsut checked , I have the original three pipps one has made a TEENY TEENY TINY bit more progress its pushed out more where I can see it better instead of jsut a little crack against the egg the other two are just the same and now I have what I think is a new one , its hard to see but it looks like it ( hard to see cause I need new glasses and becuase the babies left there little fuzz in there and it settled on the eggs and its ahrd to tell from slight pipps.)
So Im gonna go Pray and then go to sleep and hopefully Ill wake up to hatched or hatching babies .
Shelly if they contenue to make nice even little circles to ecscape from I should be able to tell from the eggs when the hatch is done if they or some where youre eggs ,
