Day 19 and no movement or peeps

IDK, Mine went to 105. something for a bit (unknown if it was 1 hour or 6 hours) and I have 3 eggs that were peeping last night. 5 have little peck holes. I am so excited! I am at day 19. ALTHOUGH I admit I do not know how many of the 42 eggs I have are good and fear these ones will not make it.... Just because this is my first time.

Around DAY 10 I had a freak spike to 106.x for an unknown time period overnight. Now on DAY 17, temp has stayed at 99/100 with the occasional bump of 102, humidity is around 45%. Out of the 7 eggs left in the bator I have good movement & veins inside 5 of them and the other two are dark, can't see any movement.

I started with 19 of the biggest eggs from my own flock of 8 RIR and 5 mutts (plus 1 RIR rooster) and discarded during the candling process when they were obviously infertile or cooked dead (after temp spike a few of them had dark mush in the following 3 days).

This is my first time hatching and I've already learned a lot - and they aren't even due to hatch until Sunday!

Mine dropped to 95 a few times and spiked to 105.4 for about five minutes when my thermostat was failing. We managed to stabilize it and have been running spot on ever since. All eggs (so far) look great. Due to hatch out in seven more days, so we'll see what we see. So far, everything appears to have been developing just fine, even after the 105 spike scare. Thankfully the low temps were experienced very early in the incubation period, so hopefully they didn't affect the chicks' development.

My little peeps are determined to make me wait lol. My fiance saw a little wiggle in one egg :). Im glad i didnt cook them then! Hopefully when i get home tonight ill see a pip :)

at 4:00 pm today will be day 20. My birds are developing a tad behind, so I like to think of today as day 19, for 4 of my eggs and day 18 for the other tWo. I did put them in to to small homemade hatchers, so the ones that are developing the same will get to be together. and they will have a bit more room. I candled and they are looking much dryer, and they almost have the look of the chick going into the air cell. not quite there yet. They are all marked air cell, and what side is up if I have to candle.

Is it easier for the chicks to hatch laying on their side or with the fat part of the egg standing up?

Well i realized that i miscounted... today is day 21 and they still arent peeping or moving.... im worried about the little babies inside. I added a wet sponge because acouple silkie eggs went into lock down

I am also on day 21. I didn't have movement , that I know of
,

but they are peeping. I would not help them out. When they make a peck hole they need to breath outside air while in their egg for another 24 hrs. that gives them time to absorb their yolk n'stuff.
