Hubby, teenage son and I went to see Sabaton, a Swedish metal band, at Moore Park in Sydney. They were excellent and we had some dinner in the Entertainment Quarter beforehand. Were you at a show Loz? Looks like fun.

I’m so sorry you experienced this, how uncomfortable for you. Good on you for setting boundaries. Not about chickens, just sharing.
I coordinate the teaching of a large first year course. The staff I recruit are brilliant and mostly the students are ok too.
A student asked me for an online meeting. It had to be online and at a specific time because of his commitments. Ok. I agreed and sent a link.
The student had a question that could obviously have been resolved with email. Worse, he was in bed with no visible clothing (thankfully not exposed below the chest).
How revolting. I was absolutely disgusted. I cannot recall a time I have been shown so much disrespect in my workplace.
It also made me think about the risks associated with holding online meetings with students.
Your later mention of senior colleagues makes me think that you’ve already told them about this, but if not, make sureNot about chickens, just sharing.

It's fully documented.Your later mention of senior colleagues makes me think that you’ve already told them about this, but if not, make suretheythat you document this ASAP, probably with a copy to your manager.
I don’t think this is a “kids these days” incident. This feels provocative, in the sense of provoking, trying to stir up trouble for the future.
I agree. I figure her whole company is that way.Yep. Slovenly.
Imagine what her work is like if she can't straighten a shirt.
I don't have time to reschedule. My calendar is full every day and I have already moved things around to accommodate them. I can't afford to do it again. I would never see my chickens. Both you and @BY Bob seem very accommodating of this. Why wouldn’t you say - make another appointment when you are prepared/presentable and just hang up.
I think that is what I would do.
She has this habit of just sticking her tail straight out when she lays down. Such confidence she hasThat cat is really very large. I know we know that, but there is just a lot of cat on display in this picture!
In this particular case, it was time-sensitive enquiry, which makes it all the more baffling he didn't choose to resolve it via email as he'd have had his answer a day sooner. Both you and @BY Bob seem very accommodating of this.
