Day 19 and we have babies!!!!!!!

Discussion in 'Incubating & Hatching Eggs' started by SundownWaterfowl, Jul 20, 2008.

  1. Well, today is day 19 for my 9 Silkie eggs, and 1 egg from an standard EE and bantam rooster.

Well, I went to check on the hens, and lifted one up. Under her was a gorgeous black silkie. I was suprised. He was all fluffed up and beautiful. A very nice looking silkie. Then I lifted up the other hen, and under her was a gorgeous buff/partridge/or splash chick under her.

Well Tuesday is day 21. I will let you know if more hatch.

Congrats! Seems like every hatch I've had this year has been early whether in the bator or the hen.
