Well, today is day 19 for my 9 Silkie eggs, and 1 egg from an standard EE and bantam rooster.

Well, I went to check on the hens, and lifted one up. Under her was a gorgeous black silkie. I was suprised. He was all fluffed up and beautiful. A very nice looking silkie. Then I lifted up the other hen, and under her was a gorgeous buff/partridge/or splash chick under her.

Well Tuesday is day 21. I will let you know if more hatch.

Congrats! Seems like every hatch I've had this year has been early whether in the bator or the hen.

    It is sooo exciting.

The little black one is a very nice looking silkie. Its feet and skin are pitch black. I will post pictures after the hatch is over.
