Isn't that just the best sound ever?

It is. And since I reside in Ice Station Idaho, it build my hope that spring will arrive sometime.

5 chicks so far. There was one when I got up. I went to the church house to shovel out the furnace, came back fifteen minuites later and had 3 more! Way cool! Even the wife is excited to witness this miracle.

6 and the wife is mad because I explained lockdown to her. She cannot play with them for a while.

Today is technically day 20. My bator might be a bit warm. But they keep coming and seem like lively, healthy chicks so I won't got looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Originally 21. I pared 7 out at stages via candling.

BTW as the hatch progesses and the humidity goes up, do you experience a drop off in survivability of the later eggs?
