Day 20 - cracked egg, not sure if its good.

I am on day 20, and last night noticed that there was a crack in one of my eggs. I had placed a ? on the egg a few days ago because i think it is a double yoke. I am pretty sure that the crack means that the chick is not going to hatch and i dont want it to contaminate my others if it is bad. I need some advice on the crack and what I should do.

Any advice/help would be great!

You dont want to open the lid after day 18. It wont contaminate anything. Just leave it and be patient.

Might be a PIP and not a crack??

Either way, at this point I'd just leave it unless it's oozing and stinking.

I was worried that the darker orange stuff (i guess the yoke) was oozy. I am probably just paranoid since i have no idea what i am doing!

Just be patient. You are almost at the finish line! Alas I am on day 14...getting SO impatient!

DH said when he looked at the eggs a lunch there is now black ooze coming out of the crack

At this point in time, its not going to explode since it already has a crack in it. I would just leave the bator closed and wait for the rest to make it out. Don't want to compromise temp or humidity at this stage. Best of luck!
