Day 20--Help!

I'm sorry! Don't be discouraged.

I lost my entire first batch too.

I was at work on day 15 and we had a random power outage that took all day to fix. I didn't know about it til I got home and seen my clocks blinking my and roast was just as raw as when I put it in the crockpot. Even though the power was back on (came on right before I got in) my eggs were ice cold with no movement at all.

If all of yours made it to right at day 18 and then died at the same time, I'm suspecting you had a temp (spike or prolonged drop) or humidity issue.

It takes practice to get it right.

I use 2 thermometers, just in case.

My go-to tools that I trust are a mercury thermometer, a digital meat thermometer that I leave in there (much to my husbands dismay), and I have a little $7 analog hygrometer/thermometer (ok I guess I use 3 thermometers) that is more reliable than the digital crap I bought on amazon.

My hatch rate got better with each hatch.
