We have 2 broody birds...one of which was due last Friday- but her 4 eggs were all duds....so we took half the second broody one's eggs and gave them to her....today is day 20 on these 8 eggs....went out this morning and found 2 pips.....came home this evening and both were about halfway out!!! I am so excited!! The moms are both White Rocks...and seem to be doing great so far. The roo is an Ameracauna and the hens we have are white rocks, turkens, and black and red sex linked (stars)...
Checked on them just a bit ago and both are out- one for each mom!! One is solid black from what I can tell and the other looks like the roo- chipmunk markings!
And when I zoomed in on that last picture it looks like another pip. So hopefully tomorrow we'll have more. There's the possibility of 5 more!
