DAY 20

Today is day 20 and NO rocking OR piping, Wondering if what i did wrong with them??????

Me too! Mine were rocking yesterday, but haven't since. I've got bantam Columbian Cochins in the hatcher, and my bantams have always pipped by now...I'm getting really nervous.

I guess we can console/comfort/cheer on each other!

Me too! No movement at all. I moved them from the 1588 to the LG to hatch, and I'm worried that the temp fluctuations have not helped. Mine are Mille Fleur / Silkie crosses (hatching for a friend.)

If your LG temps were correct when you moved them into it, that's all that matters. The actual moving itself wouldn't hurt them. Good luck to us both! Keep posting as things happen!

SO I have my bator on the kitchen table, and we were messing around the house last night, and we were running around a little bit and we were wondering if the little bit of movement that we created will it hurt the chick in there hatching?? we didnt bump the table but when you run past the table it moves a little bit??

Shouldn't hurt them at all. If anything, I would guess it would maybe stimulate them to hatch!

i just hatched some a week and a half ago that came out on 19 days. have you candled them to see if they're dark?

I always candle mine on day 18, just before they go into the hatcher...but I never candle them again unless they haven't hatched by day 23.
