Home from work and the last chick is still in its shell. It didn't start to pip till this morning so I guess I will just have to give it time.

The chicks in the brooder are eating and drinking now. So cute.

Well I set them Sat. March 3rd. The time was "around" 4pm.​

Did the last chick hatch yet? The suspence is killing me!

I wish you could ship them. I'd buy them all! I wanted Marans, but the hatchery we used only hatches them 'every once in a while'.

I wanted chickens that lay chocolate colored eggs! lol

Well I am the proud mama to 12 fuzzy butts. !00% hatch!

LOL! The last one hatched yesterday. After a little scare she seems to be doing fine. All the little ones are now in the brooder.
Here are some pics.

This one I am positive is a little roo. He is so much lighter than the others. A couple others are possibly roos as well. We will see how they feather out.
