I always allow my eggs to go to 3 days late. Then I float test them.... if they move back in the bator they go!
if you have late hatches it means the temps were a little low.. give them time!
The one that zipped but never hatched.. did it die? was the egg membrane dry? if so up the humidity! do you have a hygrometer?
If they zip but don't hatch I tend to pop the lid after 12 hours zipped.... then afterwards I tag em so I know it was the one in trouble. I don't breed from them but they can still be great pets and egg machines!
