day 21 and nothing

Today is hatch day and I see and hear nothing... They had a 102 F spike. Could that have killed them? I know its still a little early. I guess I just need some reassurance.

I am on day 23 and only 1 chick out of 12 so far... so I feel your pain! Fingers crossed for both of us!

Thanks, Ive hatched before and alot were early. These are shipped eggs

Kasey, my shipped eggs don't hatch until day 23 so I wouldn't worry. This last hatch on day 25 I was ready to through out all the unhatched eggs. I started an eggtopsy on one egg and found a kicking foot!! Baby didn't rotate. So I began peeling the membrane and shell off. She began to bleed a little. I put her back into bator and slowly over the period of a few hours got her out of the shell. Except for the color, you cannot tell her apart from the other chicks!! Be patient and enjoy!

Don't get too nervous yet! When my 3 duck eggs reached hatch day, nothing happened. 3 days later I finally heard some peeping, and all 3 hatched, super fast and without help, this morning on day 33 (5 days late)! Good luck!
