Wait a while until you make a safety hole. Sometimes it takes a while to get out. If you hear the chirp weakening, then I would be worried. If you make a safety hole, make sure you make a hole on the end with the air cell. Be careful.

I had the same problem, only with quail eggs. One was internally piped on day 11 then it did not hatched so i checked on it and it had died.

no, i open them on day 25, they were all dead, one opened the air cell but didn't pip, the others were a little small for day 25, i think they stopped develop. Now i'm gonna try again with a homemade incubator

I recently saved two chicks that were shrink wrapped the other two popped out overnight. Once I could see they was an external,pip and I was at day 21 . They had not made any progress for 26 hours I intervened by gently peeling away where I had marked the aircell and then they did the rest themselves.
