yea see I'd said that same thing yesterday & now I've got pips but no zips yet. what did you all say about anticipation? LOL

And Sundown I had missed this thread yesterday so let me say congrats now! When they've all hatched do you find yourself all at a loss with not having to check the incubators any more?

Another ones out! So 11 chicks now. 1 more pipping out. Still nothing on the old english bantams yet, but they are still on day 19, so im not worried yet. those will probably pip later tonight.

I think that I will take the chicks out later this evening, and then leave the newest chicks in there overnight to finish fluffing up.

oops. I counted wrong. 10 chicks, and the 2 last standard eggs with pips.

I checked on the eggs, and then came back 30 min later, and a Self Blue OE was pushing out of the shell. That was so fast. Lol. There wasnt even a pip when I looked. Another Self Blue is pipping the shell. The last faverolle also hatched. So now I just have 3 more eggs to hatch, all Old English Bantams.2 self blues and a black breasted red. The oegb is so cute and tiny. its like a quail. lol
