I would wait until the end of day 22 to candle, if you still have zero activity. What had your humidity levels been like in the first 18 days? And temps?

There’s movement in a few eggs but no pipping and it’s the end of day 21... would you advise that they are going to be along soon? Very excited

Yeah they are moving but not lots! I’m just concerned because they are late... do you know how long from movement to pipping ??
There's never really a "set" time for these things. Just educated estimates. It depends on so many factors, incubator temps, humidity, growth rate of the baby, absorption of the egg yolk into the abdomen and closure, turning within the egg to pip, zipping, then hatch.

Much like a human baby, you mostly have to be patient and wait. :)

If they are late does that mean they are weaker ?
No not necessarily. See my last note about growth, etc.. 👍

I only get worried about a chick being weak, when it's been too long between the pip/zip/hatch stages. Also, when their peeping turns to shrill screams for help, or diminishes.

You can look for these things to read on while you wait, so you can self educate and know how long it all takes, and when to take action to assist. :)

Yeah I know patience is important! But there’s movement with eggs rocking but none out of 10 have pipped or made chirping noises... just getting a little impatient lol
