Day 21 quail hatching eggs??

Hi I’m on day 21 incubating Japanese quail and my belief is they should hatch day 16-18 the temp and humidity was a bit up and down at the start but now has stayed the same I took them out to candle them and I can see chicks moving still how long before I turn off the bator?

Well, defintely don't turn off the incubator. What do you mean by that?

Sorry I mean as it is day 21 how many more days would you say before the eggs are a lost cause? Thank you!

Its ok. Can you candle them? Look for movement. Day 30 maybe? Give them a chance, especially if your temps weren't good for a while.

Yeah I candled them last night and could still see movement, so I feel like maybe they’re a few days behind as the temp was all over the place at the start.

Probably are. Just give them time.
