Day 21 silkie egg help!

I didn't think my egg was going to hatch but I just noticed a spiderweb like crack on the small end of the egg. It seems like it is on the inside though. Is this normal? What do I do?

A candling picture would help; do you notice anything unusual about the other eggs? Try not to handle the egg any more as the chick will be trying to position itself for the hatch.

I couldn't tell by the picture. Candle the egg and if there is a crack you should be able to see it. Good luck and have fun...

It should be ok. If the temperature or humidity was off some it may hatch a day or two late.

I only put one in my incubator. I got it as a gift and wasn't supposed to use it until spring but I convinced my boyfriend to let me try one egg as a trial run.

Continue the hatch as normal; there is nothing you can do at this stage.
