We have baby! And I am so excited I think it is a blue!!!!! One more is zipping also. Will update with pictures later as I have to go get a pigeon cage to put quail in. LOL It never ends!

You've got an incubator full of eggs and DH doesn't know, lol!!! I would never be able to keep that secret!

LOL It won't be long with all the noise we have going on. My daughter has them in her room. I did tell him that we have an incubator and will be ready for quail eggs. LOL

I am sorry it is so late. I will get pics in the morning when dd is up. So far I know we have two chicks hatched and still wet. I figure they should be fine until morning and need the time to dry. We have one blue and one black so far.

We also have 5 more eggs that are rocking and have pipped. So that makes a total of 7 possible out of 10. Not bad for our first time, ebay eggs, and switching incubators 2 days after starting all this. The first one died! LOL

Should have some good pics in the morning. Can't wait!

This morning we have six total chicks hatched. One Blue and five blacks. All seem pretty dry so we are going to move them into a brooder set up. I have one egg left that has pipped, but nothing more. The babies are rolling all the eggs all over, so I think I need to remove them and give the others a chance. Our humidity is up to 84% this morning and holding temp just perfect. So I am thinking 60% on shipped eggs isn't a bad hatch for a first timer. And being day 21 we still could have more. Right?

So, for those of you that are definitely more experienced then I am, do these look like Orpingtons????? If so then the ebay seller did good. Still keeping my fingers crossed for the last four eggs. Was hoping for a blue (got it) and at least one splash. How long do I wait on the remaining eggs?

Well I'm not experienced and I don't know if they are Orpingtons but they sure are cute. I did read on there somethere you should wait until day 25 for them to hatch.
