Day 21....still nothing!!

So sorry for you all....I'm in a similar situation. I started out with 3 broody hens sitting on a total of 15 eggs. This is my (and their) first time at this. Days 18 & 19 had two hatch dead, day 22 another one hatched dead! I'm going crazy here!!!

The first two broodys are now ending day 23 and day 22. The third girl still has 9 days to go till hatching day. Nothing is happening with these first two...no cheeping, no moving, no pips, no zipping!! Couldn't restrain myself any longer...today I candled again. From what I can tell broody 1 (day 23) still has 3 possible live chicks. Broody 2 (day 22) mmmm....maybe 2 chicks out of 3 look good.

This waiting is torture!! I want babies now! Seriously....would we really want to do this to ourselves again?!

Congratulations, that's a beautiful baby, it's a Welsummer yes? I have a Welsummer hen and she is the prettiest in my flock and lays such pretty dark eggs too.

Yes it is a welsummer, I just love those beautiful eggs! The birds are just gorgeous too!!
3 have hatched so far!

!!! The same thing is happening to me!!! day 21, 1 pip then nothing else for like 24 hours!!! what should i do!!! im using a ipod app that lets you hear anything really well, and i think i hear tapping but maybe its just me! today is day 22 and still NOTHING!!! what should i dooo!!!
