I have 17 Welsummer eggs in the bator, today is day 21. No pips, no rocking, no nothing.....the wait is gonna kill me I swear! I candled them on day 16, all 17 had something growing in them from what I could tell anyways, those welsummer eggs are dark & hard to candle. Somone better hatch, I drove almost 6 hrs round trip to pick up these eggs.....

I am sorry, I'm in the same situation. Day 21, no pips, no movement, no peeps, nothing. I've worn out a flashlight battery over the last couple days searching for any sign of chicks. This is my first hatch and the wait is horrid, I didn't realise how hard it would be to keep out of the incubator during lockdown! I have 11 bantam eggs but only see air cells in 4 of them so I am still hoping for a couple chicks and i've heard sometimes it doesn't happen on day 21. Keeping my fingers crossed for chicks for the both of us over the weekend

Oh the first hatch was so nerve wracking, I cleared my calendar for the 2 days (day 21 & 22) & didn't leave the house for more than 10 mins! This is my 2nd time hatching, I was hoping to be done by tmrw as the chicks are supposed to go to the chicken swap to be sold on Sunday, (after I pick out the few I am keeping for me!) But if they aren't all hatched, IDK what I'm gonna do!!! Gotta love that self induced stress!!!

Poor Blueberry! Nothing like a schedule or deadline to throw things off in matters of reproduction! I hope they all hatch for you and are just "late bloomers."

I just hatched chicks in my classroom at school...I didn't have ANYTHING start to happen until day 22...when I got 1 chick. The next morning I came in (on day 23) and I had three more hatch. Yesterday, (day 24) I had two hatch. I've pretty much given up hope on the rest, but I have the second little one still in the bator, so I figured the eggs could have their final chance to hatch. I'll be doing an eggtopsy later...

I usually have WAY better hatch rates, but I don't know what happened in the evenings and weekends with the temps at school...at least at home I can control it!

Hope that you have some pips and hatches today!
