I took on incubating chickens for my FFA chapter. i candled on day 7 and there was 4 out of 14 eggs. Then on day 15 and there was 3. wasn’t bad compared to our first batch that accidentally got cooked. i can’t candled again on day 18 and just looked like blobs. all was good. removed from turner and increased humidity and it got up to 82% so i had to open up incubator to get it down.day 20 i didn’t see any movement. How do i hear chirping? humidity is down now to 63%. Now it’s day 21 and no pipping as i can see. i’m patiently waiting the arrival of the chick-a-peas. Any help? did i do something wrong?

First :welcome
Now...what temp did you keep during incubation? Is your incubator still air or does it have a fan? Shipped eggs or locally gathered?
During incubation let’s anywhere from 99.5-101. it fluctuated. it has a fan. a friend won at raffle, not sure how they got there

The humidity sounded a bit high, but being day 21 I would give it awhile. I k ow lockdown means lockdown, but if you want to, take an egg out and peck on it with your fingernail. You should get answering cheeps. I also YouTube newly hatched chick sounds and place it by my incubator to kind of get them moving. Last time I did it one was out in 20 minutes lol. Also, if you take it out to peck on it, you could candle and see if they're internally pipped (beak in the airsac) and see if you can detect movement

I took each eggs out separate (there is only 3) and i candled them and pecked. nothing when i pecked. when i candled i saw a big air sac and the rest was dark. nothing in the air sac that i could see. now i’m leaving for work so hopefully when i come home after 11 we will have a baby

Sorry I'm so late lol today was no phone day...its usually best to wait until it is fully dry and make sure the other eggs haven't eternally pipped before opening the incubator, also work fast!!!
Congratulations, any pictures?

Only one hatched!
